Perennia is proud to present the Grape Production Guide! This guide was developed focusing on the most frequent inquiries from local growers and newcomers interested to grow grapes for winemaking in Nova Scotia. Topics such as site selection, site preparation and most planted varieties in the province are just some of the examples of what you can find in the Grape Production Guide.

When would be possible to leaf thin the vineyard? How I
collect petioles for nutrition analysis? How does Downy mildew look like? Which
are the main grape ripening parameters? All these questions and many more are
answered in this guide to help you take management decisions in the vineyard. Each
section in the guide has photos to understand how the diseases look in the
grapevines or how the healthy and well-maintained vineyard looks at the end of
the day in the vineyard, with detailed information about how the certain
activities in the vineyard can be improved.
